about

Introducing The Public Apophenia Council, a trio of adamant musico-explorers, employed by The Institute of Anti-Inertia to promote audio awareness and keep us well informed of the tendencies.

The Public Apophenia Council or, for those in perpetual hurry, simply PAC has been fighting those inertial tendencies since 1984 and comprises Milk (noise engineer, guitars, numbers), Arthur (percussion, vibrations, words), and Sam (deep fretless bass instrument).

As the sea is melancholy and the school of fish has a limited sense of direction, PAC is working in the doldrums, where they make their own weather. Encompassing all possible vibrations that a person can comprehend, PAC is not committed to safety.

Their boat is leaking and effort is being continuously taken to keep it afloat against the currents. This EP is their first. It is a looming journey through urban landscapes; that inevitable journey that one has to take in the early hours of the fading weekend.

The wind in your eyes blurs the signals of those bright lights, there are few cars and even fewer people. Your legs take you down a familiar route but your head foliates and impartially follows as a comet tail.

A few turns here and there, but the journey is integer, somehow linear in it's haze. Anon you put your body to rest and all you can hear are words, fragments of phrases dipped in general hassle, all in maddening circulation.

Soon your own thoughts will surface.
